A University friend of Rania had requested us to help in acting within her uni media assignment. We both took on the challenge as not only would we be helping her but this would prove beneficial to me and Rania as we would have a slight idea as to how shooting works. Not only would this add experience to our A1 blogs but also benefit us for our A2 blogs where we will be conducting video shoots. Hope you have fun watching 'The Day Off'!

While acting I also started helping out in the set. We had struggled with making the room seem like a fortune teller was either seeing the future or a witch was manipulating something. We went for different props like a blue-lit globe, multiple candles, and putting clothes on the light fixtures (not recommended tho, definitely is dangerous). During this setting, I learnt about a key aspect of videography and photography, that is lighting and how to accurately represent it on a camera using ISO, Shutter speed and Aperture.
Here are videos of me regretting the choices I make in my life, helping with set props and acting in the video itself.
