After carrying out my Audience Survey, I collected a total of 47 responses from a wide range of people which I then analyzed in Prezi. I have also evaluated the use of this data and how I will be using it in my final production of the magazine.
Here is my raw data in the form of a spreadsheet
Blue = MaleRed = Female Yellow = OthersOverall, the survey proved advantageous as I gained a clearer idea of what the audience looks for in a magazine. "Page 4: Your Preferences" provided the most useful set of information as it allowed me to put together an idea of what colour scheme and content type I will be producing during the final production of the magazine. It also gave me an insight into what the general population thinks about the main social issue being portrayed in my final product. It was an eye-opener to how people tend to perceive the topic of "toxic masculinity". "Page 3: Genre of Interest" allowed me to finalize my sub-genre of lifestyle and art, as both topics tend to go hand in hand. This will allow me to diversify my final product. "Page 2: About the Magazine" wasn't as helpful as I will not be starting monthly production of the magazine. However, it will allow me to perfect the finer details like the issue dates and social media awareness. I've also concluded that affordable prices need to be set as my target audience revolves around young people who opted for a cheaper price range.
