I was tasked with creating my Proposal/Pitch presentation that I would then present in front of my Media Studies classmates and my teacher to get feedback on my idea's progression and whether there was a need to change the base idea before proceeding forward with the production of the final magazine.
Overall, my presentation was deemed good with a solid idea that could be developed and worked on more. Many of my classmates had initially thought my portfolio was based on the LGBTQ+ community so I had to clear up those doubts and explain my idea more thoroughly. I also took in my mind to develop my product in a way that the audience doesn't perceive it wrongfully. My teacher suggested I also think more about the chosen article topics and the cover lines I would want to display in my magazine. She mentioned keeping track of how and why I'm breaking traditional magazine conventions and not gravitating too far away from the concept of presenting a fashion magazine. All in all, everybody was looking forward to seeing my final magazine after its production.
