Have a thirst for adventure eh? Tired of wandering the world with no purpose? WELL look no further! While most events in Elysium are purely RNG, there are special scripted quests that can be undertaken in order for you to unlock perks and special powers for your unicorns! These quests CAN end in failure, even injury but players are allowed to take up failed quests again. When you do so, they pick up where they left off so don't worry about starting over (unless you want to for story purposes). Quests only fail if a horse loses itās trail, takes a wrong turn or are injured and require rest.
Keep in mind, some Quests are INSANELY dangerous and can end with your unicorns death. These quests will come with ample warnings so you can make the decision for yourself if the prize is worth the risk.
Quest submissions should be a minimum of either:
400 words for a pure literature piece
or
A colored partial body with backgroundĀ
Interested in heading out on a whimsical adventure!? Look at our prompts below and choose which quest you which to undertake! Keep in mind, some have to be completed in order to start others so read carefully! Some quests can be taken up by regular herdmembers while others will require your lead stallion / mare to participate.
Once you have decided which quest you want to undertake, note the group in order to receive your initial prompt. Be sure to include which of your characters are undertaking these quests along with which quest they will be undertaking. Quest prompts should be responded to closely as they are designed to lead you upon a semi-specific path. After you post your reply to this initial prompt, you will continue to receive more from an Elysium mod.
Your pieces should continue to respond to these prompts as they will help guide you through your journey! You will continue to receive prompts until the quest is complete or until your unicorn fails their quest or you choose a wrong path! Some of these prompts will give you options so choose wisely, else you might be back tracking.

Slightly different than the other two types of quests, Seeking Quests allow players to look for specific items or encounters. These quests are guaranteed to give players what they describe but can not be completed back to back. Meaning you can not take on two mare encounter quests one after another. Only Lead Stallions or Mare may take on Seeking Quests. After all, leads and are the only ones who can accept new members.
Two regular group submissions must be accepted before taking on another Seeking Quest.

~Lovely Ladies and Warrior Women~

Loneliness is as much a danger in Elysium as a dragon. Perhaps not as dangerous but a unicorn alone is not one that tends to last very long. The second submission should detail how you interact with said encounter.
Rewards: Random Mare Encounter

~Plants a Plenty~
Quest requirements: None
Elysium is abound with herbs and magical plants of many different shapes and sizes. Some will heal your wounds while others make your stomach churn so badly you almost past out! Whatever you seek, it can easily be found if you just dedicate your time to looking for it and know what you're looking for. This seeking quest allows the subject to seek out one of two well known Elysium Herbs or one of its special summoning items. Your first submission should describe/illustrate your character deciding which plant they are looking for and where they think they'll find it. Have they found it there before? Did they hear a rumor about it growing there? The second submission should describe/illustrate the same character harvesting the herb and deciding how they're going to use it. Will they gobble it down immediately or save it for a rainy day?
