The team settled on the luxury brand Cartier and focusing on their iconic "Love Bracelet". The Cartier brand identity is focused on heritage, luxury, curiosity, and open-mindedness.
The team each pitched their own storyboards initially to see what we each envisioned for the project. While speaking in person we all liked the idea of incorporating an environment that that transforms from ordinary to extraordinary, utilizes motion graphics, and has an aesthetic of old Hollywood glamour to sell the the image of Cartier's luxury identity.
Personally, I was influenced most by this Cartier ad and this Tiffany ad below.
After going over each pitch in our group, we settled on a combination of mine and my teammate Yoolji's storyboards as they were very similar in concept and Yoolji had more ideas for the FX that we would be using.
