After receiving both critique from our mentors, as well as professors, final touch ups on environment 2 neeeded to be implemented. The extra panes on the windows were removed as well as the glass planes. And since the sky is now much more visible, the sky atmosphere, height fog, and sky light needed to be updated as well.
The height fog atmosphere is a bit intense here as well as the overall saturation and warmth.
Height Fog
Here I just adjusted the color of the inscattering color so it would blend more seamlessly with the rest of the sky an appear more like an extension than a hard edge.
I also adjusted the temperature of the light to make it less saturated but it will still need adjustments as it is a bit too saturated still.
I also got a recommendation to add building cards to make it appear as if the ballroom was a penthouse or part of a high rise.
Building Cards
Here I layered in building cards so that some parallax would be present as the camera moves.
I also slightly adjusted the temperature of the directional light again. The cards I currently have look a bit flat and non dimensional so far.
More buildings added into the background to bulk up the background. I took the cards into photoshop and boosted the contrast and saturation very slightly, although I think adding more cards helped more with making a more complex and believable silhouette.
