Get together in 5 groups and each pick a different one of the 5 main leadership styles (SPLAD - Situational, Paternalistic, Laissez-faire, Autocratic, Democratic). For the chosen leadership style:
Paternalistic leadership - when a leader or manager treats employees as if they were family. This is characterised by a strong leader who tries to make decisions in the interest of their 'family'. Employees, in return, give their loyalty.
Laissez-faire leadership - the ability of a leader or manager to give employees minimal direction and large amounts of freedom to make decisions and find their own methods of accomplishing objectives.
Autocratic leadership - the ability of a leader or manager to make decisions with little or no outside input. Instead, autocratic leaders rely on their own ideas and instincts when making decisions.
Democratic leadership - characterised by inclusiveness. Employees feel validated and are encouraged to share their ideas, participating in the decision-making process.
Situational leadership - the ability of a leader or manager to adjust their style of leadership to fit the task or situation that they find themselves in.

The leadership style that fit's best with the initiative from the two university is the democratic leadership style. A democratic leadership style make the employees feel validated and are encouraged to share their ideas and allow them to participate in the decision-making process. The lions den programme is a social entrepreneul programme that allows and inspire entrepreneurs to discuss their ideas and receive feedback. This programme shows that it has characteristics of a democratic leadership style.
These programmes teaches them the main skills you need within the business such as leadership development and project management. While the programme gives opportunities for the attendee to network and work with mentors to achieve great success while sharing their ideas and feedback is given, could make them feel motivated as they feel valued and they have been given a sense of ownership over their position which motivates high productivity
The behavior can be described as unethical because the CEO and COO lost the pensions of over 4,500 employees and investors lost their money. The inside trading is also unethical because it is unfair for the other stockholders and investors.
