Any character in Canidale can start with a selection of accessories of their choice. The accessories must be designed by the character’s owner and featured on the character’s visual application.
Rules:
When choosing an accessory, keep in mind your character’s alignment. A Junkyard or Stray dog is unlikely to possess a shiny, brand-new accessory, as it would quickly get dirty with their lifestyle. A Pet is also unlikely to wear a collar with long spikes (not the decorative ones, but the ones associated with guardian dogs), as it would be impractical in everyday life and could pose a danger to the owner.
If the accessory is in any form painful or harmful for the canine, there must be a valid explanation provided for why the character is still wearing it. (either in the Backstory or Others section).
(Please be mindful and considerate when creating characters with abusive backstories. The staff will be looking into each of those cases separately to decide if it was treated respectfully.)
If you want to add a new accessory to an already existing character, please provide one piece of canon work showing or explaining how the canine came into possession of the specific object.
Examples of characters featured with their accessories. It's useful to include a standalone drawing of the accessory and it's palette.
The current accessories avaliable in stock can be found on our discord server here.
The currency that can be used to purchase already-designed accessories is called meme points.
Every completed meme template is worth 1 meme point.
If more than one person is collaborating on a piece, the memepoint will be split into parts (for 2 collaborators - ½ points each, for 3 - ⅓ points, and so on).
To buy an accessory, visit our ticket channel on Discord and click on the “Buy an accessory” option. You’ll then be asked to attach links to all the meme templates you want to use to make a purchase.
After a successful purchase, you’ll receive 2 images from a staff member: one being a full ref of the item on Canidale’s official background and the other a no-bg standalone that you can paste into your application doc.
And if you ever wanted to trade accessories with another player or gift them, then use the "Gift/Trade an accessory" option and fill out the necessary information!
Would you like to Donate an Accessory? That's amazing! Perhaps you're the next generation's secret talent pet fashionista?
Here’s what you need to do:
Come up with an idea for your own unique accessory. It has to be something of a kind or with a special backstory attached. A plain blue collar is easy to replicate and certainly won’t do, however, a collar with a custom pattern you’ve designed would certainly be a hit!
Draw your accessory! It can either be just a floating item or fitted on a simple mannequin for size and body placement suggestions. For an item submission, you’ll need two versions of the image: one pasted on the official application template that will be used to display the object in the shop, and one as a PNG file with a transparent background.
Send us a “Donate an accessory” ticket. A form will pop up where you’ll be asked to attach links to the images and add the item name and a short description.
The staff will evaluate whether the accessory is unique enough to be added to the shop and set up a price.
(!The price is estimated based on the complexity of the accessory and body coverage, not artistic skill level.)
Pricing is no ranking! It is a system meant to differentiate small and large accessories, simple and complex. Don't get upset that your accessory was priced differently than others. It is in no way an estimation of the quality of the drawing.
The group has a limit of one accessory donation per player per month. Resets on the first day of a new month.
The collar on the left is a plain blue collar, the first thing that comes to mind when thinking of a blue collar.
The collar on the right has a sense of uniqueness to it, something that may be considered personal and one-of-a-kind.
Don't be afraid to create silly accessories, it is, after all - a meme shop ;)
Do not copy designs from Pinterest photos or other sites. We want it to be something unique you’ve designed “with all your heart”, not just copied from the internet.
To allow a wider range of creativity, it has been established that Canidale’s groomers have access to a wide variety of pet-safe fur dyes.
The items cannot be considered abusive or cause pain to the dog in any way. Accessories like tattoos and piercings won't be accepted for donation.
