Each assignment has its own specific requirements—substantive as well as form. Strict adherence to such requirements is mandatory. With regards to the form requirements, any written assignment that is not typed, does not include proper header (see below), is not properly organized, is not stapled in the upper left-hand corner (if hardcopy is to submitted), is not in pdf format (if softcopy is to be submitted), etc. will not receive a grade above 70/C. Rationale: If you do not take pride in every aspect of the work product you submit for grading, then it is not deserving of a grade of “A” or “B.”
Each written assignment must include the following information in the upper left-hand corner of the first page only: (1) Your Student No. (a number I will assign you, not your KSU ID or SSN number); (2) the name of assignment; (3) the course number; (4) the class day and start time; and (5) the assignment’s due date. Do not include names: (1) Do not include your name because assignments must be anonymous to be self-critiqued, peer-reviewed, and/or professor-graded, and (2) Do not include my name.
The following is a sample of the header that must be included in the upper left-hand corner of the first page only of all written assignments:
Student Number: 999
Assignment: Essay Question Project (Final Version)
Course: BLAW 2200
Class: MWF 9:05 a.m.
Due Date: 10/23/24
Suggestion: At the beginning of the semester, set up a template that includes the required header as prescribed and utilize that template for each written assignment you turn-in.
You must have the technological capability and ability to convert and upload each written assignment as ONE DOCUMENT IN PDF FORMAT (i.e., no other formats will be accepted: no submission consisting of multiple pages or files, in Word document format, of photos pics, jpegs or otherwise, of a link, in a format that requires various online software programs, etc.). If not, you will not receive a grade above 70/C.
