The space planning
The space planning
The space planning was revised to make the retreat more functional, climate-responsive, and connected to the concept of “Stillness in Motion.” In the original design, the courtyard, circulation, and program arrangement had potential, but the spatial sequence needed to become clearer. The revised plan focuses on improving the relationship between public, semi-private, and private spaces while using the courtyard as both a reflection space and ventilation core.
