This concept sheet shows how the original Stabile House was refined into Coastal Stabile. The original idea focused on Calder’s stabiles, balance, tension, movement, and self-reflection, but the AI-assisted review showed that the design needed to become lighter, more climate-responsive, and more architecturally realistic. The revised concept keeps the idea of “Stillness in Motion,” but expresses it through a stable base, lighter structure, off-center courtyard, sea breeze, shading, and moving shadows.

This AI-generated concept sheet was used as a visual test to explore how the revised concept could be communicated. Although it helped show the transition from Stabile House to Coastal Stabile, I did not fully accept the result because the final form did not completely match my design intention. The test was useful as part of the exploration process, but the final architectural decisions still need to be refined through my own drawings, plans, sections, and judgement.
