This section presents the revised design proposal for the Studio Retreat for Alexander Calder. The redesign does not replace the original project, but improves it through AI-assisted research, critique, comparison, and human judgement. The revised direction, Coastal Stabile, keeps the original concept of Stillness in Motion while making the project more climate-responsive, spatially clear, sustainable, and connected to the user experience.
The proposal is organized according to the main areas of improvement: site analysis, design concept, space planning, environmental performance, sustainability, user experience, and visual communication. Each part shows what changed from the original design and why those changes were made.
