Assignment 2 AI Workflow Exercise — Site Analysis Workflow
Scenario Selection: Option B — Site Analysis Workflow
Target Location: Kajang, Selangor, Malaysia
"Architects do not simply generate outputs... they orchestrate systems."
Project Overview
This assignment marks a conscious shift from merely "using AI tools" to deliberately "designing AI-assisted workflows." In professional architectural practice, solving complex spatial and environmental problems rarely relies on a single software or isolated prompt. Instead, it requires a systematic orchestration of multiple platforms, multi-stage testing, continuous iterations, and rigorous human decision-making
For this exercise, I have selected Option B: Site Analysis Workflow.
The Investigative Framework
Using Kajang, Selangor as the baseline study location, this project documents a structured, five-stage systematic pipeline:
Research AI: Environmental and localized data gathering.
Mapping: Spatial, topographical, and physical site charting.
Climate Analysis: Evaluating microclimate parameters, solar paths, and wind vectors.
Summary: Synthesizing environmental constraints into tangible architectural opportunities.
Design Response: Translating synthesized climate data into passive design strategies.
Core Principle
While various Text, Image, and Research AI tools are integrated throughout this pipeline to enhance efficiency and cross-examine data, the final critical judgment, technical validation, and design responsibility remain entirely human.
Paste this right onto your main Assignment 2 page.
Pair it with a clean, analytical header image (like a site map, a sun-path diagram, or a minimalist urban plan of Kajang).
