Chris "The Cannon" Carter

vs Anthony Torres

The Cannon landed big blows in each of the first three rounds, and finally put Torres on the canvas in Round 4. He got to his feet, but the ref had seen enough and stopped the fight at 2:37 of the 4th round.

vs Jimmy Powell

Powell barely answered the bell after a vicious beating in Round 1, but was able to hang in there for six rounds against The Cannon. In the end it was a unanimous decision win for Carter.

vs Ray Thompson

Once again The Cannon erupted in Round 1, causing lots of damage to Thompson. Carter didn't defend well, and both fighters continued to exchange blows. Two of three judges gave the fight to The Cannon for a Split Decision.

vs Larry Foster

Both fighters landed big blow after big blow in the 1st round, but The Cannon kept the pressure on in the second round, opening a cut on Foster's right eye. A punch at 1:19 of the third round damaged Foster's eye and the fight was stopped. 2nd career KO for Carter.

vs Paul Perez

The Cannon came out swinging as he often does and landed a huge cross after several big uppercuts. Perez was overmatched and the ref called the fight at2:11 of the first round. It was the 3rd KO of Carter's career.

vs Eric King

The Cannon once again approached his opponent with intent to punch early, dropping King to the canvas with an uppercut 31 seconds into the fight. King got to his feet, but couldn't defend several more punches before the ref called the fight at 1:41 of the 1st Round. It was Carter's 4th KO.

vs Richie Gonzalez

The Cannon and Gonzalez went toe to toe the entire fight, with each fighter seeming to win big rounds. With the bout still in question, Carter dominated the final round, putting Gonzalez on the canvas in the closing seconds of the fight. It was enough to earn a Majority Decision.

vs Billy Murphy

The Cannon delivered a severe uppercut in the 3rd round that saw Murphy hit the canvas. He recovered in time for the bell and fought a solid 4th round, before Carter dropped him again in the 5th round. The ref stopped the fight at 2:39 of the 5th for Carter's 5th KO.

Regional Title Fight

vs Sam 'The Assassin' Anderson

This one didn't last long. In less than a minute, The Cannon delivered a left cross to Anderson that landed him on the canvas. He made it to his feet for a moment, but Carter stayed on the attack, firing punches from different angles until he had an opening for that left cross again. Anderson was dropped for a second time and the ref had seen enough. Carter wins the Regional title at 1:31 of the 1st Round earning his 6th KO.

Chris 'The Cannon' Carter advances to the National level with a Reputation of 28. His record is 9-0-0, 6 KOs.

vs Earl Ward

In his National level debut, The Cannon went on the attack and dominated the 1st Round with Ward unable to score a punch point. Ward settled in though, and the fight went the distance with Carter looking fatigued toward the end with some serious cuts to his left eye. Carter wins by Split Decision.

vs Larry Patterson

This was another tight contest, with The Cannon winning most rounds, but suffering several bad cuts to his left eye. Protecting it probably cost him a chance at a knockout. Carter does win by Unanimous Decision,
