Multiple delays on this trip due to plane damage. A 4 day layover in Miami after the second leg. A nearly 8 day layover in San Juan after the third leg. And a 3 day layover after the fifth leg. After leaving Natal, the flight was going well after I attempted to make up lost time and we ran out of fuel over the desert.

My Douglas DC-2 had multiple problems through my journey. A nearly 4 day in Miami. A 6 day delay in Panama. An 8 day delay in Karachi. We were attempting to fix the plane after towing it back to Soerabaja, but we ran out of time. I also got food poisoning in Ethiopia to boot. Still, we survived to fly again another day!
