Hosted by Keith Avallone

Pole: Phil Yanez

Winner: Ray Bob Walker

2nd: Linc Revere

A very exciting race with eleven different race leaders! Two feuds to start the new SCRAM season: Kerry Cacciola and Robby Piotrowski, Race Week altercation that saw both get fined; mid-race "incident" between Austin Bigler and Trevor Trostel. Both Phil Yanez and Julee Justus had excellent opportunities to take the lead in the later stages, thwarted by "triples" (i.e., engine issues). All 43 cars finished, a rarity!

Probably one of the cleanest races I have ever seen at the infamous Northern Lights Motordome. Only 6 cars didn't finish the race despite a good wreck towards the middle of the race. Only 6 lead changes led to a fairly milquetoast race.

Crazy sequence at the end of the Sun Coast Capital 400. Joey Plonka in the 73 takes the lead on the pit turn 37 (of 40). Turn 38, he’s ousted by Wyatt Zander and Plonka goes to 2nd. Turn 39 is another top group check, but TROUBLE check…. To the race leader. Zander rolls a 4 to stay in the race but falls from 1st to last! Fill the gap…. Plonka retains the lead, Donna Tourville goes to 2nd and at the top of the medium group, Carson Hargett and his two blue chips fails the gas check, allowing Julie Justus to move to 7th with a chip. Turn 40 a final top group check that only two cars qualify for. Justus prevails but loses her chip and takes the lead. Maxx Baxter in 3rd can challenge for the lead. Justus… holds it off and wins the race!!

What an unexpected surprise winner for this year's FAS-SAV Supermarket 500 at Texas National Raceway this weekend! #74 Raul DeHoyos methodically worked his way up from a starting position of 21st to secure the lead in the closing laps and successfully hold on amid half a dozen hard chargers in "SCRAM Overtime" for the decisive win!

Racing was fairly clean with only three cautions except for the overambitious, fuming Ray Bob Walker in the 88 car. He tagged the wall, knocking himself out of the race on a last lap play for the 2nd spot held by the 24 car of Cooper Mixson. In addition to Walker, #82 Justin Leonard and #00 Donna Tourville failed to finish as well. Leonard had multiple mechanical issues, and Tourville blew the engine of the double-zero car in the early laps of the race. And pole sitter #13 Julee Justus finished a respectable 10th place after holding the lead twice.

3rd: Julee Justus

4th: Kory Wallace

5th: Geoff Daly Jr.

The Dot Cola 400 held at Dixie Regional Raceway was full of excitement throughout the entire race which saw 15 different leaders in 22 lead changes! Pole sitter Cam Croyle finished a disappointing 40th place after becoming entangled in a driver altercation with Jordy Pettus and losing a duel. These actions have started a feud between the two drivers that will likely carry over to the next couple of races. Aside from this, the race only saw two cautions with 40 of the 43 drivers successfully crossing the finish line.

Brent Tice,  filling in for the retiring Wayne Montana, patiently worked his way to the front of the lead pack late in the race. But in order to secure the victory for his aging mentor, he would have to diligently fight off a hard-charging Brooks Billovich. And it was on the final turn that Tice shut the door, crossing the finish line in spectacular fashion!

But Pettis holds him off to win the Heartland 500.  Some key moments: Turn 30 Donna Tourville takes the lead to the delight of thousands of female fans in the audience. She would eventually finish eighth.  Turn 32 would see Raul Dehoyos jump from tenth to first spot to get the crowd into a frenzy.  Turn 20 would get ugly as Car 92 Axel Barbeau wrecks his card and is forced to drop out after losing a duel to Linc Revere!  Definite Feud brewing with those two as Barbeau was storming the pits looking for Revere after the race!!   SCRAM Legend Wayne Montana finishes a disappointing 34th.

A Hollywood ending as Wayne Montana grabs the lead on the 38th turn and holds on to take the checkered flag in his farewell season!  Close behind him was the young non-trophy driver, Sev Kleckner, straight from the B series and looking to make a name for himself.  Rounding out the pack were Maxx Baxter, Julee Justus, and Donna Tourville.  There were 13 lead changes in this one, with pole sitter Joe Bob Walker leading the most turns with 11.  Alas, Joe Bob would finish a disappointing 37th after getting filtered to the back of the pack.   There were two cautions in the race, the first when Axel Barbeau went sideways into the wall, the second the result of a duel between Linc Revere and Phil Yanez that saw Yanez spin out.  Tempers were hot after that one, but no further incident occurred during the race.  In news off the track, both Julee Justus and Jason Leonard were the subject of "domestic"  rumors during race week, fueled by pictures of the two of them leaving a bar in the early hours of the morning.  TMZ will have full coverage of this developing story.

Trevor Trostel was there at the start and he was there at the end, claiming the pole and leading the first 10 turns, and then storming from the middle group to claim the checkered flag on a final turn surge thanks to a 5 on the black die result that had everyone from the top and middle groups battling for positions.  The other excitement came from a couple of duels that resulted in near instant karma for the victors.  On the 3rd turn of the race, Joey Plonka spun out Chase Fetterman, sending him to the back of the pack.  Three turns later, Fetterman got his revenge on a feud result, knocking Plonka out of the race.  On Turn 16, Kevin Pettis used similar dueling tactics to spin out Ray Swisher.  On the turn immediately following the yellow flag, Swisher got his revenge and Pettis was left with a DNF.  Exciting racing at the Western Frontier Motor Raceway!
