In addition to crafts and machined projects, I also enjoy creating artwork. Here are some pieces I've made, all of which were published in issues of Rose-Hulman's INK literary and visual magazine from 2014-2018. I have also painted a number of murals, some of which can be seen at the bottom of this page.

I have painted several murals for local businesses in my hometown of Zionsville, Indiana, as well as one at my college, Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. Here are some examples of my work.
After I painted the back wall of their shop in 2014, Robert and Rose-Marie Goodman contacted me again to paint this Miffy-themed corner mural in the back office of their Zionsville jewelry shop as a playspace for their granddaughter. As a huge fan of Miffy, I naturally accepted their offer, and I laid out and painted the entire mural in a single 9-hour stretch, using colors matched exactly to Miffy creator Dick Bruna's iconic color palettes. I'm quite pleased with the results!
In 2014, local jewelry shop owners Robert and Rose-Marie Goodman offered me the opportunity to paint a mural on the back wall of their Main Street shop in Zionsville, Indiana. I chose an astronaut bunny design, with bold lines of color inspired by Mondriaan running through the image. It was my first large-scale mural, and it was a ton of fun!
During my freshman year at Rose-Hulman, I lived on the 3rd floor of BSB hall. In keeping with past BSB3 floor traditions, I painted a mural in the hallway to memorialize our particular 2014-2015 class. We chose a "Monsters University" theme, which I sketched out and painted. Then, each student individually painted a "door" with their name and room number.
