Laser-Engraved Coasters

I made a set of personalized coasters for my family out of 1/8" plywood.

I chose a simple midcentury modern-inspired design featuring our last name, and made a set of 6!

This was definitely a learning experience, as I hadn't expected the laser engraving to be so much slower than the laser cutting!

I finished the coasters with a coat of water-based polyurethane and black felt on the bottom to protect the table from scratches.

I also made a small holder for them out of scraps of cedar wood!
