Hygiene and Handwashing

“WASH YOUR HANDS AFTER YOU GO TO THE BATHROOM!”

Who does that sound like? Correct. Your mother. Well, she wasn’t wrong. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention even says that hand-washing can reduce the risk of respiratory infections by 16%. So, honestly, you have no excuse but to spend that extra thirty seconds in the bathroom lathering up your hands. Proper hand washing can also reduce the risk of food borne illnesses. You can thank the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention once again for that tidbit of information. Oh, and you could also probably thank you mother. Wash up!
