Christopher Maness I think that they become unhelpful when they stop offering innovative solutions. I asked a friend of mine who kept posting videos and articles about a problem, and I simply asked what ways that we could solve the problem. His reply was that we first had to get the word out. I was frustrated that he wanted to (what appeared to me) only vent about the issue, instead of addressing it and stirring up conversation in order to actually deal with it.

Christopher Maness Stacey Druss I'm still judged for my idiosyncrasies, however I try at best to work around them. It doesn't mean that I ignore my truth. It means that I can ebb and flow with it, depending on the situation.
Esteban Trev Christopher it seems to me that the reaction they had was more of a reflex based on the ideology they hold especially given what you where stating implicated dropping those beliefs and ideas ... it's like with the egotistical who realizes they better help those around be wealthy and well of for purely egotistical reasons of not being bothered by them coming and taking what with us...

Stacey Druss Barry Kort I don't know what a Risability index is, but I actually think this thread is pertinent to the greater understanding of how we communicate and why we often forget that we are interconnected.

Barry Kort I didn't need to since there was only one instance of the word "issue" prior to my question, and it directly preceded my remark.
So I put the question forward yet again:

Stacey Druss Barry Kort as for the consensus on the name of the issue? Honestly I hadn't thought about a name. In this case, assigning a label to it, was not necessary for me to continue in my stream of consciousness.
Stacey Druss Barry Kort but YOU had been focused on that so YOU remembered that the word issue had only been used once. I had not had my attention there.
