All students must provide evidence of police clearance before entering any classroom. The procedure takes at least 14 days.
If you have submitted proof of police clearance, show knowledge of school board policies, and submitted the BSU Criminal History Disclosure form, DO NOT re-submit the documents. If you have questions, contact Professor Green.
Students enrolled in a practicum experience course are required to COMPLETE field experience in early childhood/SPED, elementary, middle or high school classrooms approved by the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) with certified teachers. (SPED - special education department)
Practicum Field Experience:
Students will be placed in the BSU PDS partnership schools in PGCPS.
Any student seeking placement in another school system must follow the special instructions on Field Experience page on the website.
Transportation is provided for those students who live on campus. The drivers will meet students in the alcove across from the bookstore in the Student Union on Tuesday(s) at 6:55 am.
