Students seeking placement in HCPSS must follow these steps:

1. Email two schools where you would like to complete your field experience in HCPSS to Professor Green immediately.

2. Include the following information in your email:

   • Your Date of Birth (MM/DD/YYYY):

   • Date of Your High School Graduation (MM/DD/YYYY):

   • Are you an HCPSS graduate? (Yes/No)

     • If yes, the Name of the High School:

   • Expected BSU Graduation Date (MM/DD/YYYY):

   • Are you a member of the Federal Education Association (FEA)? (Yes/No)

   • Do you speak Spanish fluently or conversationally? (Yes/No)

   • Are you a current HCPSS employee? (Yes/No)

     • If yes, Where?

   • Do you have relatives working in HCPSS? (Yes/No)

     • If yes, Where?

     • If yes, what is your association with them?

Please provide this information as soon as possible to facilitate your placement. 

Upon receipt of the above  documents, you will receive an email:

• Approval to start your field experience

• Information regarding your school placement, the school's contact person, and your pre-service teacher 

• HCPSS SafeSchools - 

  • 1. You will be required to sign a technology agreement

    2. You will be given updated technology access information 

    3. You will access into the SafeSchools training
