In partnership with our parish community, St. Barnabas School strives to deliver a first-class Catholic education that combines rigorous academics with spiritual development, guiding students on the path of Christ to become knowledgeable, moral, and compassionate servant leaders.
Student Council is sponsoring a Sock Drive during the month of October. Please help us collect new socks, any size, to be given to St. Vincent de Paul for distribution. Laundry baskets will be placed in the breezeway for the next two weeks and children may place their donations of new socks in the baskets as they enter the building. Help Student Council provide socks for those in need, as we sponsor our first SOCKTOBER!

Stop by the Incredibowls Acai Bar Food Truck tomorrow, Saturday, September 27 from 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM during CYO games at St. Barnabas to enjoy a delicious, healthy snack, coffee, or smoothie! 10% of all proceeds will go toward St. Barnabas Athletic Association.
We are once again making a Veterans Day video to honor all the servicemen and women who protect the United States of America. If you have a family member who is a veteran, or currently serves in the armed forces, please send their picture to veteransday@barnabasohio.org. Please list their name, the branch of the armed services in which he/she served, and their connection to our St. Barnabas family.
Our Veterans Day video has become a tradition here at St. Barnabas School. We can think of no better way to honor the brave men and women who valiantly fought for the freedoms we hold dear!
Winter sports registration ENDS on Monday, 9/30. Late registration requests may not be able to be accommodated so please take the time to register on time. St. Barnabas will offer the following sports in Winter 2024:

Extended Day Registration - If your child(ren) plans to utilize our Extended Day or Little Blazer Care, please complete the Registration Form before the first day of school.
Extended Day for grades K-8 will open with regular hours of 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Little Blazer Extended Day will open with regular hours of 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Art Club - Grades 3-5 will meet after school on Wednesdays until 4 pm -9/25, 10/9, 10/23, 11/20, 12/4
Grades 6-8 will meet after school on Mondays until 4 pm -9/30, 10/14,10/28, 11/11, 12/9
Youth Choir Signup: The Barnabas Church Choir sings primarily at school Masses on Fridays at 8:30 am, but also for intermittent 10:30 am Masses. Rehearsals are held on Wednesdays after school in the church. To sign up for the St. Barnabas Children's Choir choir, please fill out the form.
Grandparent's Club: New this year! St. Barnabas School is launching a Grandparent's Club! There will be volunteer opportunities, events and fun ways to get involved in their grandchildren’s school. We are looking for committee members if you know a grandparent or special person who would like to be involved, please contact Mr. Seislove or Mrs. Skelin.
Grandparents Day on Tuesday, 11/26. More details to follow. St. Barnabas School will send a personal invitation email to all Grandparents listed in FACTS. If you would not like us to contact your child's grandparents, please email grandparents@barnabasohio.org.
Volunteer Opportunities: We are looking for volunteers to help assist in the Library this year. If you are interested, contact the Librarian, Mrs. Farinella, at laurenfarinella@barnabasohio.org. Get ready for the pants, sweaters, and sweatshirts needed in our second quarter of school by shopping the exchange on October 15th in the cafeteria from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.!
Remember the Uniform policy for 2nd quarter is slightly different!
Girls of St. Barnabas--grab your favorite dance partner (dad, mom, grandpa, grandma, uncle, aunt, VIP, etc!) and come join us on 10/18/2024 from 7:00- 9:00 p.m. Plan on dancing, activities, and light snacks to fuel your FUN!
Make sure to wear your neon to Glow Up the Night!
This event is FREE for our families, but we do ask that you RSVP so we can accurately plan for the night!
We need volunteers! The Grateful Goodies Gang is a rotating group of people who surprise our staff once a month with a small token of our gratitude for all that they do. Would you like to help? You can be as creative/simple, elaborate/efficient, as your Gratitude Goodies Gang wants!
