📢 The Angel Scholarship Update📢
offers SBS families a chance to win $2,500 toward tuition, fees, or a school lunch account for the 2025-2026 school year. Every $100,000 raised triggers a drawing, and we’re currently set to draw two names on April 15.
We’ve already raised $291,000 in scholarship dollars, and we’re aiming even higher! We’re only $9,000 away from reaching $300,000, which would allow us to draw THREE names!
Please encourage family and friends to participate—parents, grandparents, neighbors, Godparents, aunts, uncles, siblings, and coworkers are all eligible to donate and help St. Barnabas students thrive. Be sure to fill out the referral form here.

As we journey through the Lenten season, we are called to reflect, repent, and reach out to those in need. In this spirit, we are excited to announce our annual Lenten Food Drive, running from March 24 to April 7.
How You Can Participate:
Donation Period: March 24 – April 7
Drop-Off Locations: Bins will be available in the church vestibule and the school lobby
Requested Items: Non-perishable food items such as canned goods, pasta, rice, cereals, and cooking oils.
Your generous contributions will support local families facing food insecurity. This act of kindness not only provides nourishment but also embodies the compassion and love that define our community.

Attention 7th Graders: It is time for you to start looking at local high schools! We encourage you to visit the websites of schools that interest you to note scheduled open houses, entrance exam dates, and shadow days. If you plan to visit during a school day, please let your homeroom teacher know, as well as the office, before your absence. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
Morning Drop Off Reminders: Please remember that carline drop-off ends at 8:00 AM as we begin our school day promptly. Arriving on time ensures a smooth and safe start for all our students. If you are using the South Lot, please make sure to walk your student through the crosswalk. This helps ensure the safety of all our students and families. Thank you for your cooperation!

Youth Choir Signup: The Barnabas Church Choir sings primarily at school Masses on Fridays at 8:30 am, but also for intermittent 10:30 am Masses. Rehearsals are held on Wednesdays after school in the church. To sign up for the St. Barnabas Children's Choir choir, please fill out the form.
Volunteer Opportunities: We are looking for volunteers to help assist in the Library this year. If you are interested, contact the Librarian, Mrs. Farinella, at laurenfarinella@barnabasohio.org. It's time for our annual Mother-Son event! Mark your calendars for a FREE DISCO-themed night of bowling 🎳on Friday 5/2/25 at Northwood Bowling Lanes. Wear your best 70's gear🕺☮️🌼✌️ and be prepared to make some groovy memories with your sons! Doors will open at 5:30, and we will bowl from 6p-8p.
PTU will cover the costs of shoe rental, bowling lanes, and provide light snacks. The bowling alley will have full service available.
