Our Extended day program is in need of additional help! This is a perfect role for grandparents and college or high school students. Afternoon, flexible hours available! If you have any questions or know anyone interested, please contact Mrs. Majoros at dmajoros@barnabasohio.org

Each year we provide every student with an "I am St. Barnabas" t-shirt to be worn throughout the year. Please complete the 2024-2025 I Am Shirt Order Form for each child (Preschool - 8th grade) to ensure proper sizing. You'll need to include your child(ren)'s homeroom teacher, which can be accessed on the Class Lists page on our school website.
As you're gearing up for the 2024-2025 school year, you can access the updated St. Barnabas School Uniform Policy here. Updates to this year's policy have been highlighted in yellow.
To purchase PE uniform pieces, complete this online PE uniform order form. All items ordered on the form will be charged to your FACTS account and delivered to students during the first week of school. Students are not required to wear PE uniforms the first week, even if they have PE classes scheduled. Mrs. Majoros will also be selling PE uniforms in person during the Meet & Greet on August 19th.
Summer reading and math recommendations by grade can be found here. Please note - the JH reading selections have been updated. Don't forget to bring in your assignments at Meet and Greet!
Save the date! This year, school pictures will be taken on September 5. More details to come when students return to school.
Please bring medication and appropriate paperwork to the Meet and Greet (8/19) if your child will require medication at school. A physician's signature, parent's signature, and a picture of the student are all required for medication forms. Thank you and we are looking forward to a healthy new start to the school year!
Extended Day Registration - If your child(ren) plans to utilize our Extended Day or Little Blazer Care, please complete the Registration Form before the first day of school.
Extended Day for grades K-8 will open with regular hours of 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. starting Wednesday, August 21.
Little Blazer Extended Day will open with regular hours of 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. starting Monday, August 26.
FACTS & Tuition - The State has approved the final EdChoice Scholarship award amounts for our students for the 24/25 school year. Tuition invoices have been sent to all families. Parents will receive a letter from the State asking you to sign and accept the EdChoice scholarship on your child's behalf. We must collect these letters, and keep them on file for audit purposes, so please do not discard the letter when it arrives. We will provide more instructions on when to return them after the start of school. We are still waiting for Round 2 Diocesan Tuition Assistance, Diocesan Undesignated Angel Scholarship awards, and Diocesan Employee Assistance information. If your child is blessed to receive any of these funds, your account balance will be adjusted accordingly. Youth Choir Signup: The Saint Dominic Savio Children’s Choir sings primarily at school Masses on Fridays at 8:30 am, but also for intermittent 10:30am Masses. Rehearsals are held on Wednesdays after school in the church. To sign up for the Saint Dominic choir, please fill out the form.
After School Gymnastics - Learning Ladder is offering St. Barnabas After School gymnastics program for students 1st - 3rd grade on Tuesdays from 3:30 - 4:15 PM (9/3-10/8). Registration is now open and spots are limited. Learn more.
Edge Registration - Edge is a Catholic middle school (6-8) youth ministry program provided by Life Teen. It offers a safe and fun place for youth to find a solid Catholic community, get answers to their questions about faith, and experience Jesus profoundly and personally. Please join us on 9/6/2024 for our St. Barnabas Family Outdoor Movie Night! We will be watching the movie IF. The show will begin at 8:15 p.m. Entrance starts at 7:00 p.m.
This is a FREE event to attend this year, however we will have concessions available for sale. Concessions will include pizza, popcorn, candy, Gatorade, water and some more fun items. There will also be raffle baskets and 50/50 raffle tickets so be sure to bring cash.

NEWS FROM OUR ST. BARNABAS ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION
Attention all new coaches: Reach out to Amanda Tagliaferro, St. Barnabas Athletic Director at SBAA@barnabasohio.org for new coaches' requirements. These must be completed prior to stepping on the field/court and coaching our young athletes.
Please join us for the Fall sports prayer service on Tuesday, August 20th, at 6 PM located in the south parking lot (near the pavilion and lower fields).
