Join us for the first Ignite Parent Party of the year on Thursday, October 24 at 6:30 PM at Spennato's! This fun event is open to all St. Barnabas parents, regardless of your child’s grade level.
Enjoy appetizers, drinks, and a sneak peek into this year’s gala, which will be held on March 1, 2025. Whether you’re interested in volunteering, finding ways to support, or simply having a great time, we’d love to see you there.
🎃 Student Council will once again be hosting a Trunk or Treat for the students on Thursday, October 31, at 1:30 p.m. Please join the fun and view the costumes of our children as they parade past your car. Participants should be prepared for 500 trunk-or-treating goblins.
Adding a new twist to this tradition, Student Council is holding a car decoration contest. While not mandatory, if you wish to decorate your car, our officers will be judging at 1:15 PM. What’s the prize you ask? Bragging rights for an entire year that YOUR family placed first in the Trunk-or-Treat car decorating contest!
To reserve a spot, please send a monetary donation in an envelope with your last name on it marked “Student Council Trunk or Treat.” Help support the Student Council and be a part of our Halloween celebration; it promises to be a hauntingly good time!
On Wednesday, November 6, St. Barnabas has the opportunity to host 50/50 raffle sales at the Cleveland Monsters game as a fundraiser. This is a great, easy way to raise money for our PTU!
We need 20 adults (and some cute kids) to volunteer for this event! Families are encouraged to volunteer together and wear their SBS spirit wear. You’ll be able to catch some of the game while selling 50/50 tickets and are welcome to stay after the raffle concludes.
This is an additional fundraiser for our Family Fun Night on January 31, 2025.

Ladies, join us for our fall retreat on Saturday, November 2. This year you’ll hear from Lindsay Fullerman and Keynote Speaker Emily Stimpson Chapman who is a well-known Catholic author and speaker. You'll also hear witness talks from parishioners Lauren Fullerman and Joanne Post. Our theme is: Captivated - Love, Community, and Thanksgiving. It will be a beautiful day of community, fun, reflection and prayer. We encourage women age 18 and older to join us. There is no cost to register. We are once again making a Veterans Day video to honor all the servicemen and women who protect the United States of America. If you have a family member who is a veteran, or currently serves in the armed forces, please send their picture to veteransday@barnabasohio.org. Please list their name, the branch of the armed services in which he/she served, and their connection to our St. Barnabas family. *If you have previously submitted a photo for the previous year's video, and would like to keep your Veteran, please email us to confirm with the Veteran's name and your student's name.
Veterans Day video has become a tradition here at St. Barnabas School. We can think of no better way to honor the brave men and women who valiantly fought for the freedoms we hold dear!

A message from the clinic: As cold and flu season approaches this is a reminder to please keep your children home if they are not feeling well. This is important to stop the spread of illnesses. Students must be fever and symptom free for 24 hours before returning to school and after school activities. We will be starting our vision and hearing screening for required grades. Extended Day Registration - If your child(ren) plans to utilize our Extended Day or Little Blazer Care, please complete the Registration Form before the first day of school.
Extended Day for grades K-8 will open with regular hours of 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Little Blazer Extended Day will open with regular hours of 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Youth Choir Signup: The Barnabas Church Choir sings primarily at school Masses on Fridays at 8:30 am, but also for intermittent 10:30 am Masses. Rehearsals are held on Wednesdays after school in the church. To sign up for the St. Barnabas Children's Choir choir, please fill out the form.
Grandparent's Club: New this year! St. Barnabas School is launching a Grandparent's Club! There will be volunteer opportunities, events and fun ways to get involved in their grandchildren’s school. We are looking for committee members if you know a grandparent or special person who would like to be involved, please contact Mr. Seislove or Mrs. Skelin.
Grandparents Day on Tuesday, 11/26. More details to follow. St. Barnabas School will send a personal invitation email to all Grandparents listed in FACTS. If you would not like us to contact your child's grandparents, please email grandparents@barnabasohio.org.

Part-Time Accountant: St. Barnabas Parish is looking to hire a part-time accountant. Hours and days are flexible. The role is ideal for someone looking to work in a flexible, part-time capacity while contributing to the financial health of St. Barnabas Parish and School.

Girls of St. Barnabas--grab your favorite dance partner (dad, mom, grandpa, grandma, uncle, aunt, VIP, etc!) and come join us on 10/18/2024 from 7:00- 9:00 p.m. Plan on dancing, activities, and light snacks to fuel your FUN! Make sure to wear your neon to Glow Up the Night!
This event is FREE for our families, but we do ask that you RSVP by 10/11/24 so we can accurately plan for the night!
Our chair of Donuts with Grown-ups, Erica Paczak, will be stepping down after this school year.
