Dr. Anuj Mubayi

An Associate Director at Precisionheor of Precision Medicine Group, Instructional Assistant Professor at Department of Mathematics of Illinois State University, Associate Research Scientist at Prevention Research Center-Berkeley and Adjunct Faculty at College of Health Solutions of Arizona State University as well as at Biocomplexity Institute and Initiative of University of Virginia. He held assistant professor position at the Simon A. Levin Mathematical Computational Modeling Science Center and the School of Human Evolution and Social Change at the Arizona State University. He was a director for Mathematical Theoretical Biology Institute (MTBI) from 2014-2020 and has been a strong supporter of the underrepresented minority who have lead and managed a number of large projects. He is also a Research Mentor of the National Alliance for Doctoral Students in the Mathematical Sciences, and the Intercollegiate Biomathematics Alliance and has received many awards including the 2009 National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism’s Junior Investigator Award and 2019 Intercollegiate Biomathematics Alliance (IBA) Distinguished Fellow Award.

His research interests include the development of new cost-effective tools for ameliorating the impact of infectious diseases while increasing our understanding of mechanisms that drive their prevalence and mitigating morbidity related consequences.
