Best Buddies Events
Best Buddies Citizens: A program pairing adults with and without disabilities in one-on-one friendships.
Participants commit to at least one year of friendship, hang out with their buddy at least 4 times a month, and communicate weekly.

Best Buddies Living: All events put on by Best Buddies Living including weekly meals, educational seminars, and social events are open to nonresidents.

Friends Life Community Connection Clubs
Social Club: The social club offers group activities monthly for adults with disabilities to make friends and socialize.
Friends of 615: A social group for adults with disabilities that meets monthly with the goal of members forming interpersonal connections with one another.
With a membership fee, participants are able to choose what events to do together.

Metro Parks Events
Sports Leagues: These leagues are open to kids and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to participate in many different sports options.
The athletes have opportunities to participate in Special Olympics and Unified Sports if interested.
You do not have to be a resident of Davidson County to participate.
Community Events: All individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities are invited to participate in community days with the Metro Parks day program including dances, movie days, bowling etc.
