Program Information
As a member of the day program, participants can be apart of different programs such as:
Individual Assignment Based Learning (IABL): Individualized assignments specific participants can have that help focus on their goals and interests. It is a creative service project such as creating a podcast, book, movie, tv show, painting, etc. and also can include specific participant goals such as an exercise goal.
Community and Social Interactive Skills: As a part of the programing each day, participants are able to work on their social and communication skills with other participants and staff, along with members of the community. This program also allows participants to connect with partnerships out in the community.
Life Planning Skills: Participants also have the ability to gain life skills with On the Avenue. This can include learning healthy eating habits, how to manage stress, how to live independently, transportation, etc.
Family meals: Each month, participants work together to cook a meal for lunch, which is a great way for them to improve these cooking, meal preparation, and team work skills.
This is an arts-based program, so participants are creating many different projects such as paintings, graphic design, movies, etc. while in the program.
On the Avenue ensures that the program is very inclusive and takes participants' opinions for choosing what they are doing each week.
No, there is not transportation provided to get to and from On the Avenue. For outings during the day, On the Avenue does provide transportation.

On the Avenue is open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8am-3:30pm.
No, participants can join the day program as many times a week as they want.
No, meals are not included and participants bring their own lunch each day, with the exception of the days they do family meals and meal outings.
On the Avenue has the capacity for 20-25 participants and are actively looking for participants.

To qualify for On the Avenue, you have to be:
Diagnosed as or likely neurodiverse
Have health insurance
Have transportation to and from On the Avenue

No, there is not an application fee.
$150 per day with 3 month, 6 month, and 12 month packages available.
On the Avenue does not have any scholarships or financial aid, but they do take some outside scholarships when applicable.
