When running the Wizard ina live game, I will sometimes write down my phone number on a whiteboard so that players can all text their wish ideas to me via phone before the game starts. 

This allows players to pre-set a Wizard wish, confirm when they want to make a Wizard wish, modify a wish before they make it, and for the Storyteller to confirm acceptance of a wish: all without a Storyteller consult. 

Learn from my mistake: confirm names before granting wishes so you don't accidentally grat the wrong wish!
