This is my continually updated teaching script for Blood on the Clocktower. I've refined it over 6+ years. I prefer to read from a script quickly instead of improvising a rules expansion. It stops me from meandering during the explanation.
This used to be a much longer document. After reading advice from the game's creator, Steven Medway, I decided to use the provided script as a baseline and add brief administrative disclosures to help games run smoothly.
The introduction in the box should take no more than 5 minutes to read. This augmented script adds a few extra minutes to manage player expectations and handle accommodations.
It starts with a complete transcription of the starting script in the box and makes the following additions for utility:
