OPERATIONAL

Below are operational UK companies that currently hold an Operating Licence, which allows them to fly on specified routes within the European Economic Area (EEA) without the need for a separate licence for each country. The Operating Licence holder must first hold a valid Air Operator Certificate (AOC), which assesses their operational safety. The Operating Licence relates to the nature, ownership and financial health of the airline business.
Two types of Operating Licence are available:Type A Operating Licence for operators of aircraft with 20 or more seats.Type B Operating Licence for operators of aircraft with 19 or fewer seats.
