15/08/1979: The Trafalgar House Group, who had bought 90% of Transmeridian Air Cargo back in 1977, merged TAC with IAS Cargo Airlines to form British Cargo Airlines.

TEA UK (Trans European Airways UK) was a British charter airline based at Manchester Airport, operating between 1989 and 1991. It was established by the Belgian charter carrier Trans European Airways (TEA Belgium) following its acquisition of the assets of the failed British airline Mediterranean Express. TEA UK specialised in inclusive-tour charter flights on behalf of British and European tour operators.
The airline ceased operations in 1991 following the financial collapse and restructuring of its Belgian parent company

Tempair International Airlines Ltd, aka Tempair, was a aircraft lease operator formed in 1972 as a subsidiary of Templewood Aviation Ltd. The airline was headquartered in Windsor, and although UK registered airline, it never received its own AOC.The company primarily wet-leased aircraft to other airlines, operating them on behalf of other carriers providing operational expertise and flight crews as required. 29/11/1976: The company was put in to liquidation.

Transair Limited was a private, independent airline formed in 1947, initially as an air taxi operator at Croydon Airport. By 1952, the airline was exceeding in newspaper deliveries. 1953: Transair began IT charter flights to the Mediterranean on behalf of Horizon Holidays.In 1957 the airline was acquired by Airwork and became a subsidiary airline. Transair was also subsequently awarded a European contract for trooping by the UK War Office.May 1958: Transair relocated its entire operation from Croydon to Gatwick.July 1960: Airwork controlled airlines (Airwork Helicopters, Air Charter, Bristow Helicopters, Channel Air Bridge, Morton Air Services and Transair) merged with Hunting-Clan to form BUA.
