1964: Northern Air Taxis Ltd was initially established by Ernest Crabtree at Leeds-Bradford Airport and specialised in executive charter and air taxi flights, as well as being the sole authorised dealer for Cessna in the UK and Ireland.
In 1969, the Northair Aviation Ltd brand was adopted as the company expanded into Cessna dealership.
01/01/1989: The Brown Group, parent company of Capital Airlines, takes over Northair, and absorbs their long standing aircraft and maintenance operations, as well as gaining addtional hangar and office space.
In 2024 the Northair name was re-incorporated as a company focusing on buying, selling and brokering of aircraft.
