1993: Initially establed as Palmair Flightline based at Bournemouth for holiday charters. Palmair offered charter and scheduled flights on behalf of Bath Travel

Paramount Airways

1986 - 1989

08/06/1986: Paramount Airways was established as an inclusive-tour charter airline, initially based at Bristol Airport, operating flights from Bristol, Belfast and Birmingham to Mediterranean destinations.
24/04/1987: Paramount took delivery of their first of four McDonnell Douglas MD-83.
01/05/1987: Commenced operations.
Winter 1987/88: Operated charter flights between Gatwick and Goa.
1988: Acquired Amber Air
November 1989: In receivership

Peach Air

1997-1998

Merged with Flying Colours Airlines > JMC Air

!996: Established as part of Caledonian Airways to operate for tour operator Goldcrest operating out of Manchester.
1999: Thomas Cook acquired Carlson Leisure Group, who operated Caledonian Airways and Peach Air, and in turn led to a complete rebrand of its growing tour operation.
01/09/1999: Thomas Cook merged Caledonian Airways, Peach Air and Flying Colours to rebrand their charter airline operations as JMC Airlines.
