Members of the Coalition are permitted to use the majority of all tools found in After The Flash 8, however, some of them do not fit our aesthetic, should be restricted to certain ranks, have certain attachments that should not be used, et cetera. The list below is the final word for discerning if any weapon in the game is restricted, restricted to certain ranks, or completely free to use.
This list is long. As said prior, the Coalition is allowed to use the majority of the weapons in After The Flash 8 and there are a lot of weapons.
You are highly recommended to use "CTRL + F" to search for specific weapons. There is a table of contents below for each category.
Some items are marked with a ★ next to their name. This means that, to the Coalition staff team, these weapons fit the Coalition's aesthetic perfectly and that you are strongly encouraged to use these weapons over others. This doesn't mean that you are not allowed to use weapons without a star next to their name, but you are very much encouraged to use the weapons that best fit the faction aesthetic.
If a weapon is not included in this list, that weapon is either completely unusable or is new and has not yet been added to the tool table.
This page was last updated on 08/24/2025 by swiftywee.
Please use the CTRL + F function to search specific weapons or attachments by name.
If a weapon does not appear when searched by name, it is either completely unusable or has not yet been added.
Certain tools that do not appear when searched by name are usable. See "ALL OTHER UTILITY ITEMS" and "ALL OTHER FOOD & DRINK ITEMS" for specific restrictions.

Two conversions for this rifle exist among the wasteland—bolt action to those who prefer more 'traditional' weaponry, and a semi-auto to those who draw comfort from modern firearms. One way or another, that calibre makes it a fearsome weapon.

CALIBRE: 7.92mm Hunter (PL 3)
RESTRICTIONS:

The "Hunter" is the most iconic and quintessential sniper rifle in use by the Coalition's various militias. In recent times, the Weaver has lost its popularity due to other, more commonly available rifles arguably being better choices, but it still sees use in the arsenals of die-hard Rangers who swear on it like it were their religion.

The "Angler's Special" is a cobbled-together harpoon gun only really seen in use by the Marked Men. It is capable of penetrating through most conventional body armours, but gets less reliable when fired at long distances.

CALIBRE: Harpoon (PL 4)

The "Barracuda" is the fancier, younger brother of the Angler's Special. It uses a pneumatic system to fire off two harpoons, which are exceptional at dealing with most conventional types of body armour, though it lacks the capability of reliability at long range, unlike most firearms. It is rarely seen in use outside of the Marked Men.

CALIBRE: Crossbow bolt (PL 3)
RESTRICTIONS:

The "Brigand" is a well-crafted crossbow which can commonly be found in Hoodville. As a reliable weapon in use since 400 BCE, crossbows lack the draw strength that comes with a standard bow, instead prioritising agility and reload speed. These faults, of course, have already been addressed by the invention of the gun, so this somewhat outdated piece of equipment is usually only seen in the hands of those who lack the cash for a proper firearm.

The "Countryman" is a messy, cobbled-together musket/blunderbuss hybrid usually created locally in Hoodville. The "Firespitter" originated as a makeshift method of burning down eldritch cocoons by Sunrise locals. The design was later adapted by Bargetown, who was unable to import better, factory-made flamethrowers from other Coalition cities at the time. Despite the recent arrival of a new batch of the more advanced and upgraded Hellfire Flamethowers, the intimidating, fearsome Firespitter refuses to be completely replaced by its younger brother.

The "Fox Compound Bow" is a competition bow. How it got to the Great Lakes is unknown—perhaps some rich aristocrats left these lying around, and they got swiped away by the Marked Men. There really is no idea where these came from. Either way, it is a reliable tool as long as the person behind it is capable of using such a thing.

The "Hellfire Flamethrower" is a newer addition to Bargetown's arsenal. Mass produced by Northeast Union, it made its way across Lake Erie to Bargetown through Hamilton's trade. Since then, it has seen use in many eldritch nests' eradications and the like, as its more compact, lighter, and sleeker version of the older Firespitter design.

The "Improvised Bow" is yet another unorthodox weapon created in Hoodville. Pieces of wood and a rusty old pipe were hastily cobbled together to create a bow, with arrows made from many sticks and loose pieces of metal that sit about the place. Particularly unhinged rooks might even tape lighters to their arrows. It might work.

The "Piledriver" is a standard construction nailgun—probably stolen off of a Workman—modified to magnetically accelerate a nail to an alarmingly fast pace, turning a simple nail into a deadly projectile. The "Sunrise Surprise M3" is a terrifyingly makeshift shockbreach. It uses car batteries to produce a bolt of electricity so potent and threatening that—with the stabiliser claws attached—making contact with the produced electrical arc may simply kill you instantly, and if it doesn't, it will most certainly cause permanent nerve damage. Assuming you aren't psychotic enough to use this on another human being, shockbreaches are also quite well known for being capable of blasting doors off of their hinges as reliable breaching tools. The "Railroader" is a makeshift scraptech railgun made from the consumed parts of other cannibalised railguns. The weapon is reported as heavy and unbalanced with terribly strong recoil; however, where it loses in weight and recoil, it pays back with its sheer firepower. This piece of scrap doesn't use any sophisticated ammunition, and the only requirement to fire it is to put anything metal into the chamber. Some users warn that frequent use without maintenance or breaks may cause it to crumble apart in their hands. An unconventional and bold choice for many.

The "Wooden Bow" is your bog-standard simplistic bow, easy to create by finding a sturdy tree branch and something akin to a drawstring. The bow is one of the oldest weapons still around, and while it doesn't entirely pass the test of time in an era of guns and explosives, sometimes—for rooks especially—this is the only weapon you can get your hands on until you're able to scavenge a firearm from the corpse of a fallen foe or ally.

The "Eldritch Lance" is a hulking polearm seemingly plucked straight from an eldritch cocoon. Tales about this weapon say that it originated from an eldritch-plagued town called "Yharnam". The "Executioner" is the dream of some crazed wasteland inventor—a two-handed sword which ironically has a very sturdy frame. The "Ghostwalker II" seems to be a straight-bladed katana—very out of place considering that we're in the Great Lakes. The "Torch" is a long piece of wood with flammable cloth tied on the end. Not an orthodox weapon, but a decent blunt option for when things get tricky. Non-lethal, spikeless versions of this weapon are often seen on the belts of Constables and Registrars, even as Cavalrymen relentlessly call it lame.

The "Clydesdale Horse" takes many Huron veterans back in time to an era where certain theaters used horses for transport and assaults. Bargetown could not keep horses around, but with the expansion onto Windernola and the construction of Forst Averst, horses became available for cavalrymen and the like. Many who get to take care of the horses are surprised because of their size—after all, Clydesdales were bred for work, but due to their calm and docile personality, they are easy to handle, even on the field of battle. Recently, due to the lack of acetylene supplies, many Workmen have tried their luck in creating arc welding tools, which has resulted in resurfacing of the technique all across Bargetown. These tools use an integrated battery or a generator backpack.

Red means a potential threat;
Purple means a high priority emergency;
Blue means a retreat, regroup or withdrawal;

The "LL920 Chainsaw" is as it says, a chainsaw. It's only ever used for domestic purposes, and Bargetown would never allow one of these to be used in the field. No matter how many times you ask. It's not going to happen.

The "Medical Biofoam" is an extraordinary piece of medical equipment known as a "hemostatic plunger". Unlike the First-Aid Biofoam, Medical Biofoam is capable of stopping bleeding, but it still isn't anything magical. To use Medical Biofoam, you insert the metal needle tube deep into the wound and press down the trigger while slowly raising the can out of the wound in a repeating circular motion until the wound is filled. The foam will begin to coagulate the bleeding and, in the case of Coalition-brand QuikFoam®, stops the bleeding within 20-30 seconds. Regardless of the brand, Medical Biofoam is always extremely painful to the patient if they are not first sedated.
