Registrar Applications are currently open as of 10/25/2025
Registrar applications are applications to the "[SR] Registrar" rank and Coalition staff team that are opened adventitiously. Before applying for a staff rank, you should always ensure that you have an adequate understanding of the faction and its rules! All applicants must hold the rank of LR1 or above in the faction for at least two weeks.
Click on "Application" at the bottom of the page to get started. Make a copy of the document at the "View" tab and rename the copied document to add your username. You should then fill out every question in the application in your own words, making sure not to plagiarise or miss any questions. Please do not use any sort of AI in your answers to avoid a faction blacklist.
After the application document, click on "Character Sheet" to make your character sheet. Make a copy of the document and fill out every section with info about your Registrar character. You may not apply to the Registrar Corps with a pre-existing Coalition character under any circumstances.
Once you've finished your application and character sheet documents, click on the "Share" button and change "General access" from "Restricted" to "Anyone with the link can view". Afterwards, you may DM your Registrar application to any Coalition MR or above.
Please note that registrars, in lore, are selected based on their loyalty to the ruling class and their willingness to enforce the status quo, rather than their competence or leadership skills. Registrars are favoured for the appearance of being just and moral, rather than actually being good people.
For this reason, a truly virtuous and ethical registrar is an oxymoron. Most consider themselves good people, and some even do good deeds, but they’re usually done performatively and never in a way that compromises on their role. It’s common to see polite smiles and superficial charity, but it’s a mask used to disguise the hypocrisy and selfishness beneath. To the registrars, morality is an afterthought—the true priority is maintaining power over the people and protecting the core values of the town, as well as serving the government and traders' guilds.
Registrars are expected to be professional and emotionally regulated—at least in public. They’re also expected to be able to carry out unethical orders, intimidate or humiliate servicemen, and eliminate people who threaten the interests of the Corps without hesitation. You are strongly encouraged to make a character with a moral code, but the code must incorporate or make exceptions for criminal activity. They wouldn’t become a registrar if they weren’t willing to get their hands dirty when necessary.
We encourage you to strike a reasonable balance with your registrar characters’ morality.
Characters who are 100% good or 100% evil will not be accepted.
