What is invitation letter? Invitation letter An invitation letter is a letter that contains an invitation or request for a person or group to attend a certain event. (Invitation letter adalah surat yang berisi ajakan atau permintaan pada seseorang ataupun kelompok untuk hadir ke acara tertentu).
The function of an invitation letter is to invite, summon, or invite someone or an agency to take part in an event that will be held. (Fungsi invitation letter adalah untuk mengundang, memanggil, atau mengajak seseorang atau suatu instansi untuk dapat mengikuti acara yang akan diselenggarakan)

Mail sender: name and address of the mail sender.
Date and place: date and place the invitation letter was written.
Letter recipient: name and address of the letter recipient.
Greeting: a greeting to the recipient, such as “Dear Mr/Mrs”.
Introduction: a brief explanation of the purpose of the invitation letter and states the event to be held.
Contents of the letter: detailed information about the event, which could be the date, location, arrival time of the event, or other special instructions.
Closing: In a formal invitation letter, the closing must be written professionally and politely.
Sign: Put a signature complete with sender's full name or institutional stamp.
Eventhough it is more relaxed in nature, you need to include important information regarding the event you want to hold. So, in an informal invitation letter, at least include the following:
Event name: the name of the event to be held.
Receiver: the recipient of the invitation letter.
Day and date: the day and date of the event.
Time: arrival time, or you can also provide an estimate of when the event will finish.
Place: where the event will be held.
Event sender: sender or organizer of the event.
