The selection system has five selection commands for specific geometry modes:
All - nothing or everything is selected
Invert - the selection is inverted
Connected - all connected parts of the geometry are selected
Grow - the selection is extended
Shrink - the selection is reduced
Mouse Selection
The geometry is selected in a similar way as in the cinema, with the left or right mouse button.
Mouse selection has three methods:
Point Selection
Rectangle Selection
Lasso Selection
Each selection method can be assigned to the left or right mouse button in the attributes panel.
The selection with the left mouse button can be quickly changed using keyboard shortcuts that are identical to Cinema 4d <8,9,0>.
