Sharma et al. (2023) published a new phylogenetic and dated analysis of Scorpions (Scorpiones)! Their results demonstrated that sister group relationship of Bothriuridae to the clade (“Chactoidea”+Scorpionoidea), and show that scorpions underwent ancient diversification between the Devonian and early Carboniferous.
