Note. The genus Actinopus was recently revisited by Miglio et al. (2020). Actinopus caraiba (Simon, 1889), A. scalops (Simon, 1889), A. rojasi (Simon, 1889) and A. valencianus (Simon, 1889) were there treated as species inquirenda (so herein they are not included). All of these are known from Venezuela. In addition, Sherwood et al. (2023) published new taxonomic data on a few species in the genus Actinopus from Neotropics, in which corrected a missidentification made by Miglio et al. (2020) with A. lucasae from Bolivia!
