LYCOSOIDS+
This group includes those families traditionally treated as trionychan, close to Lycosidae, with secondary eyes with grade-shaped tapetum and posterior eye row recurved. However, according to recent phylogenetic studies, it has been possible to understand more about the evolution of the presence/absence of two (=dionychan) or three (=trionychan) tarsal claws in different groups distributed in the RTA clade. In this way, here we can find the typical 'oval clamistrum' and/or Lycosoidea families, together with Ctenidae, Thomisidae or Sparassidae, which have traditionally been treated as dionychans (see 'Dionycha-').
Ctenidae (10 spp and 25 pics)
Lycosidae (2 sp and 5 pics)
Senoculidae (2 spp and 5 pics)
Sparassidae (3 spp and 12 pics)
Thomisidae (4 spp and 13 pics)
