Here are included most of the dionychan families traditionally grouped by the presence of two tarsal claws. As explained in 'Lycosids+', Ctenidae, Thomisidae or Sparassidae, traditionally dionychans, are placed there because of the results of recent phylogenetic studies. Of these, only Salticidae is presented apart because its extremely richness in Colombia, and because this has been the most investigated family by the author.
