DESCRIBE PROJECT: My car selection is a Maserati Ghibli. Very hard to choose but I like these for an everyday driver. Otherwise I would have chosen a camera or something sporty. But I started by erasing the background (with erasing small details of the old background by the wheels). I used the magic eraser tool, the quick selection and magnetic lasso tool to get rid of the background.  Then I started by copying the car and reflecting it over horizontally. Then I picked out my item to change. So I changed the headlight because I wanted it to look more tough than it did. Once I picked the headlight I changed the levels (brightness, contrast, and black and white). Then I reflected it and copied and warped to the edge of the car (on the left). After I did a gradient opacity change to make it look gradually lighter as it gets lower. Then I changed the opacity of the whole car and the fill slider. Then I had to adjust the car's warp on the bottom and bring in a new wheel because it wasn't in the right spot. I used the magnetic lasso tool to move it. Then I adjusted it with the same levels as the bottom car. Lastly, I put the motion blur on the bottom of the car to make it look more like a puddle. I also put the black effect on the underside of the car to make it look more seamless using the ellipse marquee tool, paint bucket, and the layer mask effect.

DESIGN PRINCIPLES USED: Color, contrast, and balance. I used color in the leaving the emphasis of the brake pads and leaving everything else in black and white. I used contrast pretty much the whole thing but focusing on the middle. And balance with staying consistent with that placement of the car and all of the wheels matching up.
