What contributions did you make to your group’s short film?
I did a lot of the script for the pre-production of the short film and the camera work and audio. The rest was Adam with the editing and the communication of the film. How it comes across in the editing. We worked very well together and effectively communicated and created a schedule for what needed to be done every day. When we were working together on it, we would bounce ideas off of each other to see what each other thought of the ideas. That was a very important part of our success. We didn't need to work on it everyday because when we were working on it, we were very productive and fast with the work and we knew when to move on or come back to a topic or question if needed. We didn’t waste time or get distracted.
Did everyone contribute to the group work equally? How do you feel about your group members’ contributions?
Yes, for sure! I think we strategically split it up to make it even with our strengths. Which worked out very well in the end.
Which parts of the video creation process do you feel you contributed the most to?
I contributed the most to the essay portion and the content of the documents. Such as the Research Paper outline, the FINAL Research Paper, and Short film creation planning/outline.
Explain your strengths and/or struggles you experienced when contributing to the short film production process.
I struggle with editing because of my lack of experience so I knew that I would not be a help to that aspect. My strengths are more behind the camera and with the writing and layout information. Adam and I going into this project knew our strengths and weaknesses and why we were paired together so we understood that I would be more of the writer of the content and filmer and Adam would do the editing part. Based on our pathways, this made the most sense to us.
