I learned that I can not trust everybody to do work up to my expectation
People have different visions and skill sets for what they can do
Just talking in a podcast can get boring and could sound very monotone
You have to work on it all together and not have only one person edit it
What you think might look good, others do not
work together and don't rely on certain people to carry the whole weight of the team
Everyone's visions are different. Everyone on the team needs to pull equal weight through every step of the way. Something that I learned after the fact of this project. Do you work and keep people in check to make sure they do their work as well. It should be fun and easy if everyone is working together to get it done. Teamwork makes the dream work. I created the cover of the podcast and mostly all of the pre planning podcast documents. I came up with the idea of trying to interview people at our school who know more about the sport than we do. I contacted them asking but they never responded. Others were busy looking for plane flights and emailing people who are running the Winter Olympics. It was off task and distracted from the beginning and rushed at the end which made the outcome bad. Some people didn't research their topic and were unprepared for their recording day. The outcome was bad which was expected but looking back I learned many things from this project.Â
