All of these projects were made for Football. Two of them are game day graphics, one of them is a halftime score update, and the last one is a DMM instagram shoutout. I have grown a lot compared to last year's football graphics. I learned to take my time and the small details make the most difference. I started pulling inspiration from the UW Badgers and other sports graphics creation. This took my graphics to the next level. It is a lot easier for me to see something I like and recreate it while adding my own touch to it. Taking my time and using inspiration has really helped me upgrade my skills and content. The "follow DMM" graphic completed my idea. I knew it was going up on the scoreboard during the football game so I decided to make it football themed with the background. Also, most of our content during the fall is football related. Definitely the most reactive content with our audience. I wanted the colors to be muted besides the pop of red. I used the technique, "KIS", to keep it simple. Thinking about it on the scoreboard, I knew it needed to be seen from far away and it needs to have big lettering so it doesn't get lost. One thing I would change about it would be the words at the very bottom. I would have just taken it out fully. Seeing it on the scoreboard during the game, I could not really see it and there was no need for it. The other graphics were similar in the fact of the design style behind them. The September 23rd graphic was inspired by UW Madison’s Football. It was hard finding the right photo that would fit around the border but once I did, it pulled it all together. Looking back on that graphics, I would have fully centered the “vs.” and the logos next to it. I thought it was centered but looking at it, it does not look like it. I would have removed the 1WARRIOR graphic at the top because I can barely see it. As well as, make sure I use new pictures.
