The United States was a country with high rates of anxiety, depression, & despair before Covid-19 necessitated quarantine in 2020.
There is a drastic dichotomy of those who have alienated themselves, and those who, because capitalism, must continue to work despite logic, fact or reality.
How are we supposed to keep our cool in the depths of our loneliness?
How do we stay balanced while living in a culture that relies on people being expendable?

As someone with big emotions, raised in a home that knew explosion more intimately than comfortable silence, learning to calm the beast that is my anxiety has been a passion for most of my life.
It's been a journey to learn how to shift my perspectives, breathe through immense pain, and reimagine what can be possible when support and perserverance combine
Generations of children have not been taught real self soothing mechanisms, and it's high time for more people to have access to regulating skills that can offer respite from the storm
