Classes for K-12
The Controversial Topic of Sex Education
This is the page to keep an eye on for future sex education classes that are open to the public! During this pandemic time, all classes will take place online, which does create some limitations, especially for younger folks.
Don't see a class prepared, and know a few kiddos that would like to take the class together? Please contact me to set a lesson up! For children ages 10 and older, the classes do come as a series, often once a week for 7 weeks.
I am an instructor that will discuss intersex biology, transness, and homosexuality. All children deserve to learn about themselves within their education, and it is simply not enough to teach that sex is for procreation, when realistically, most sex is had for pleasure.
I was taught there are only 2 sexes, what do you mean you teach about intersex people and trans people? Basic high school biology does a huge disservice to students by teaching this “2 sex” fallacy. It has been known since 1915 that intersex humans make up at least as much of the population as redheads, and folks with green eyes! Biological sex and gender are 2 very different things. If you care to learn more about either or both topics, please contact me for a consultation!
Won’t teaching kids about homosexuality make them gay? There sure are a lot of lgbtqpia+ people in a world that has shared information of and waxed poetic about heterosexuality nonstop. If your child is heterosexual, learning tolerance and acceptance will help them get along with colleagues, friends, and family members when they are adults! If your child is lgbtqpia+, they will learn that what they feel is as natural as heterosexuality. The biggest difference between lgbtqpia+ kids learning about themselves vs not, is that the risk of suicide before adulthood drops drastically, simply by seeing themselves represented. Lives are literally saved by this information. If your child comes out to you and you need help learning about it yourself, please contact me for a consultation.
