Placenta Art &Medicine

Placentas; Otherwise known as the tree of life, the most humane meat in existence, and the miracle organ that helps babies change parental blood into blood they can use to fuel their growing body with!

I’m afraid I often get carried away with this topic. I bring it up at parties and dart from person to person as they start out fascinated and quickly change to backing slowly away from me after I’ve pandered on and on about the delight that is the placenta.

The placenta is an organ that carries with it a slew of stem cells, hormones, iron, protein, and fiber*, and one that is eaten by most mammals immediately after birth.

Placenta can be made into medicine promptly after labor, saved as placenta capsules for your child to use later, and consumed in a myriad of ways. I’ve seen people eat jerky, make stew, grind placentas into smoothies - the ideas and ways to consume placentas appear endless.

Placentas envigorate beautiful art; whether it’s a simple blood print for posterity, food safe dye to hang on a wall, acrylic paint, or a tree of life rendered over the imprint, images are always captivating and raw.

This article in particular only mentions this at a glance, and is instead occupied with how to tell if your placenta is actual human placenta, but it is the most scientific article I could find online without a paywall, about the use of placenta for children in chinese medicine. Obviously, using your own placenta makes for a 100% guarantee that what you and or your child are consuming is human placenta. I do not recommend taking placenta that you had no part in creating.
